UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS
The first thing you must understand is how the JFC Electronic Tester even works. This tester’s purpose is to simulate the plane’s computer system by performing closed-loop control of the JFC in manual or automatic mode. While at the same time, performing frequency response testing, meeting all CMM requirements.
MAKE SURE THE REAR PANEL IS CORRECTLY CONNECTED
At a first glance, the JFC Tester’s rear panel may seem a bit intimidating due to its large number of connectors. That said, we have designed this product to be as simple as possible as the tester’s rear panel uses individually labeled, gold-contact MIL-SPEC connectors for each EMID hookup. Make sure to follow each label for the correct connection, and you should be good to go!
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MANUAL MODE
Manual mode allows you to use our JFC tester without the need for computer access. This can be perfect for locations with an unstable internet connection, or if your computer can not handle the system! Our manual JFC Tester provides the following:
- Manual front panel operation using ON/OFF and selector switches.
- Panel meters showing voltage and current levels of EMIDS.
- Amphenol style connectors on the rear panel for connection to UUT.
- DCV proportional signals are also provided on rear panel connectors, if an external data system requires logging
CHECK OUT OUR SOFTWARE
Our software gives you access to a wide array of tests and important information to help you make correct safety decisions. This program uses NI LabVIEW software, which allows the JFC Tester to perform any test you require. It also provides access to logging data and custom reports!
